Guide

September 2020 content submissions now available! Enjoy!

a. Downloading a Content

1. First, find the content you want to download.

1.1. Go to the content's page, and find your way onto the "download" section.

1.2. Pick the desired file type, either an .MCPACK or .ZIP, both of which has a separate download link.

2. You may be redirected into an AdFly page. In some cases, download links do not have ads placed on them. Skip this step if there's no ads.

2.1. When you see a bright yellow button on your top-left, click it! It should say, "Skip Ad"

2.2. When prompted for notifications, kindly ignore it, and patiently wait for another 20 seconds until it stops asking.

2b. Linkvertise pages have instructions on their site. You may have to enable notifications, but you can then block it afterwards.

3. You should be redirected to a MediaFire page, where you can download the content!

B. Importing Packs

1. Pick a file manager that can do the thing!

1.1. On Android, it is recommended to use FX File Explorer as a file manager.

1.2. On iOS & Windows 10, you can simply use the built-in file manager.

Note: It is not possible to import custom packs on Nintendo Switch without using unlicensed (e.g. Homebrew) or third-party software!

2a. .MCPACK / .MCWORLD / .MCADDON automatically imports the content, and runs Minecraft on your device (if installed) when opened.

2b. .ZIP files are for manual importing.

2b.1. Extract the said file using your preferred file manager to get two different folders. Sometimes the content includes just one folder and sometimes multiple.

2b.2. On Android, head on over to (/games/com.mojang/resource_packs) for resource packs, (/games/com.mojang/behavior_packs) for behavior packs, or (/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds) for worlds.

2b.3. On iOS, you may need to extract it beforehand on a different device. And then, head over to the same folder above.

2b.4. On Windows 10, head over to the filepath: (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang)

3. The content should now be available in-game. And can be then applied into your new or existing worlds!
